Mr. Alan Delon Weaver, age 51, of Tennille, Georgia formerly of Dallas, Georgia, died Saturday, October 17, 2015. A local visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville and also a visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Benson Funeral Home in Dallas. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Victory Baptist Church in Dallas with burial in the church Cemetery.
Alan was born in Cobb County and raised in Paulding County where he lived for most of his life until relocating to Tennille in 2004. He was the owner of Alan’s Home Improvement and a lover of the great outdoors where he spent much of his time hunting and fishing. Alan was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Paulding County and he is predeceased by his parents, Leon A. Weaver and Martha Ann Holly Weaver, and his sister Patricia Ann W. Alexander.
Survivors are: his wife Stacy Childers Weaver of Tennille; children, Rebecca Lynn W. Hulvey and Adam Delon Weaver both of Dallas, and Alan Chase Weaver and Trevor Houston Weaver both of Tennille; grandchildren, Eric Tyler Hulvey, Chandler Zane Hulvey and Conner James Hulvey; brothers, Leon Anthony Weaver and his wife Ann of Sandersville, Tommy Weaver and his wife Terri of Tallapoosa, and Larry Weaver and his wife Sharon of Dallas; and his sister Holly W. Lanier and her husband Scott of Dallas.
May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of local arrangements and Benson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements in Dallas.
