Allowee Sanders

Allowee Sanders Myers, 83, of Lavonia, passed away Tuesday morning at her home in Lavonia.

Born August 30, 1940 in Sandersville, she was the daughter of the late John and Lucille Pounds Sanders. She was the sister of the late David Sanders and Sarah Sanders Berryman. She was retired from the Department of Family and Children Services of Georgia and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist church in Lavonia.

Survivors include her daughter Patricia & William Bruce of Lavonia and son Walt & Kelly Myers of Carnesville.  She has 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Services will be held 4pm Thursday afternoon at the B D Ginn Memorial Chapel, with Rev Britt Ginn. Burial will be at Middle River Baptist Church cemetery.

Ms. Myers is at Ginn Funeral Home in Carnesville. The families are at their respective homes. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 2-4pm at Ginn Funeral Home prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter in Lavonia GA. Link for Donation
