Angela Garner

Miss. Angela Garner, age 63, of Milledgeville, died Tuesday, April 02, 2019 at her residence.  A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4 ^th at 2:00 p.m. in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville with Reverend Lee Lacey officiating.

Angela was born and reared in Sandersville, the daughter of the late William Harrison Garner and the late Lois Ann Moye Garner.  She graduated from Brentwood School and attended Georgia College.  Angela formerly worked for the Milledgeville Police Department and as a correctional officer for the Hancock State Prison prior to dedicating herself as the primary care giver to her mother until her mother’s death.  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of First Baptist Church of Sandersville.  Angela is predeceased by her parents and a brother, Delma R. Garner.

Survivors are brothers, Carroll E. Garner of Swainsboro and Billy Garner and his wife Patty of Sandersville; and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service on Thursday.
