Ms. Ann L. Brindell, age 65, of Sandersville, died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at her residence following a brief illness. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 6 th at 2:00 p.m. at Temple of Praise in Sandersville with burial in Downs Church of God Cemetery. Reverend Wallace Smith and Reverend Fred Garrett will officiate. Pallbearers will be Randy Hasty, Tony Hasty, Mike Smith, Charlie Votipka, Nick Brantley and Robbie Kent.
Ann was born in Warren County, the daughter of the late Buford Ray Poole and the late Elizabeth Louise Black Poole. She spent her working career as a registered nurse formerly working at Central State Hospital, home health care agencies and as a Nurse Case Manager for CSRA Community Care Services. Lastly, Ann worked as a private health care nurse. She was an active member of Temple of Praise and she formerly sang in the church choir as well as worked in the church nursery. Her greatest love was caring for family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Ann is predeceased by her parents, her son-in-law, Cleston Kent, siblings, Betty Kitchens and Buford Poole and her niece, Rhonda Webb.
Survivors include, her children, Alec Brindell and his wife Betiana of Loganville and Leanne B. Kent of Sandersville; grandchildren, Jamie Brindell and his wife Kayla, Austin Kent, Preston Kent, Jeremy Kent, Emily Brindell, and Nico Brindell; great granddaughter, Harper Grace Brindell; siblings, Thomas Poole of Gibson and Barbara Votipka of Sandersville; and nieces and nephews including as special friend and niece, Kim Smith and her husband Mike.
The family will be at the residence of Leanne Kent on E. McCarty Street in Sandersville and they will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
