Ann Jackson Jones

Mrs. Ann Jackson Jones, age 82, of Riddleville died on Sunday, December 23, 2018, in a local hospital following an extended illness.  A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Riddleville Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was a native of Johnson County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Taylor Lee Jackson and the late Mildred Louise Frost Jackson. She was the wife of the late Bobby Jones and the mother of the late Bob Jones. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a former elementary school teacher’s assistant and was retired from the State of Georgia Youth Development Center. She was a member of Riddleville Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and was a girls in action leader.

Survivors are her daughter, Cheryl Jones of Riddleville; son, Keith Jones of Columbia SC; grandchildren, Molly Ann Jones and Winston Jones;  sisters, Sandra Smith of Tennille and Brenda Taylor of Hampton; brothers, William R. Jackson of Davisboro and Russell Jackson of Guyton.

The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, January 3rd at May and Smith Funeral Home.
