Aubrey Lee Rabon

Mr. Aubrey Lee Rabon, age 71, of Joiner Road in Tennille died on Friday night, March 13, 2015, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 19th, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. The Reverend Roy Smith will officiate.

Mr. Rabon was a native of Ben Hill County, Georgia, the son of the late Cecil Lee Rabon and the late Irma Mae Swailes Rabon. He was a retired educator having taught school in Glynn County, Bryan County, Camden County and Washington County. He was a former principal in Bryan County and an assistant principal in Washington County.

Survivors are his wife, Margaret Logan Rabon of Tennille; two daughters, Kim Rabon Scherer and Melissa Rabon; a step-son, Robert Anderson; a sister, Myrtice Rabon Douglas of Tennille; a nephew, Chuck Whiddon of Tennille; four nieces, Ashlyn Douglas, Karen Lee, Brittany Daulton and Alyssa Lee; and two aunts, Kay Myers and Fay Smith.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 1:00 P.M. on Thursday until the hour of service.
