Aubrey Allison Robertson, Jr.

Mr. Aubrey Allison Robertson, Jr., age 68, of Wrightsville, died on Monday, January 30, 2017, at Serenity Hospice in Dublin following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday February 2 at Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church near Tennille with burial in Mt. Gilead Church cemetery.  Elder Kenneth Brantley will officiate.

Mr. Robertson was a native of Macon, the son of the late Aubrey Allison Robertson, Sr. and the late Katherine McDaniel Robertson. He was a graduate of Lanier High School in Macon and Middle Georgia College. He served in the United States Air Force Reserves. He was a former law enforcement officer in DeKalb County and former owner of M'Kids Shoe Store in Dublin. Mr. Robertson was the retired owner of J. M. Brantley Wood Company in Sandersville. He was a history buff and enjoyed traveling, hiking and camping.

Survivors are his wife, Janice Brantley Robertson of Wrightsville; daughter, Jennifer Daniels of Dublin; sister, Carolyn Heath and her husband George of Stockbridge; brother, Robert "Robbie" Robertson of Macon and several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends in the social hall at Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church immediately following the services in the sanctuary.
