Barbara Little Duggan

Mrs. Barbara Little Duggan, age 76, of Tennille, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022.  A graveside funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, October 3 ^rd at 2:00 p.m. in Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Reverend Andy Yates and Reverend Dr. Brian Welch will officiate.

Barbara was born and reared in Milledgeville, the daughter of the late Woodrow Little and the late Edna Lord Little. She graduated from Baldwin High School, attended Georgia College and began her working career in finance. Barbara and John married in 1966 making their home in Tennille and reared a family. She worked for Bank South and retired from Queensborough Bank in Tennille. Barbara also worked as the bookkeeper for their family business, Duggan Hardware. She was a longtime and active member of Tennille Baptist Church where she formerly sang in the adult choir, was a member of the church WMU and the Carl Forester Sunday School Class.  Barbara enjoyed sports and supporting her boys during their high school endeavors. She and John loved to travel and some of her greatest joy was entertaining family and friends in her home around a meal.

Survivors include her husband, John T. Duggan Jr.; sons, Tom Duggan and his wife Wendy and Shane Duggan and his wife Kara all of Tennille; grandchildren, Callie, Thomas, Madalyn, Haley, Skylee and Bristol; one great-granddaughter, Paisley Smith; and her sister, Faye Little of Milledgeville.

The family will be at the Duggan residence on Club Forest Drive in Tennille.
