Barbara Burns Wallace

Mrs. Barbara Burns Wallace, age 74, of N. Augusta SC, formerly of Davisboro, died Thursday, November 10, 2011. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, at 2:00pm at the Davisboro City Cemetery in Davisboro. Rev. Dewey Henderson will officiate.

Mrs. Wallace was born in Newton County the daughter of the late J. Frank Burns. She worked as an executive secretary for both the Murray Biscuit Company in Augusta and for Kaiser-Permanente in Atlanta from which she retired. During retirement in Davisboro, Mrs. Wallace was a member of the White Oak Methodist Church. She is predeceased by her husband W. Jerome Wallace.

Survivors are her daughter Rhonda Wright and her husband Allen of N. Augusta SC., grandchildren, Joshua Wright and Brianna Wright, one great grandson, Landon Scott Pitts, her mother Ruby Burch Middleton, stepchildren, Janice Davis of Harrisburg NC and Jeff Wallace of Atlanta and step grandchildren, Matthew Davis, Jacob Davis and Timothy Wallace.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 6pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home.
