Mrs. Bernice Mosley Jones Rollins, age 82, of Davisboro, died Thursday, July 24, 2014, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 27th at 3:00 p.m. at the Jackson’s Baptist Church with burial in the Davisboro Cemetery. Reverends Fred Morrison, Mike Jones and Andy Carter will officiate. Pallbearers will be Butch Strickland, Don Lindsey, Bill Ressaeau, Randy Mosley, Dewey Holton, Sandy Sanchez, Herman Zipper and Don Green.
Mrs. Rollins was born in Davisboro the daughter of the late B.M. Mosley and the late Mae Bell Fiskus Mosley. She was retired from Thermo King and a former employee of Burns Manufacturing Company both of Louisville. Mrs. Rollins was an active member of the Jackson’s Baptist Church where she shared her love of cooking. Her husbands, W.B. Jones Jr. and W.G. Rollins and her daughter and son-in-law Carol and Lindsey Hannah all predecease her.
Mrs. Rollins is survived by her sons, Ronnie Jones and his wife Ann and Mike Jones and his wife Rusti all of Davisboro; grandchildren, Shaun Jones and his wife Amanda and Shannon Komm and her husband Daniel; great grandchildren, Asher Komm, Hadassah Jones, Abigail Jones, Stephen Jones and Benjamin Jones; her sister Ruth Warren and her husband Richard of Waynesboro and her sister-in-law Martha Mosley of Sandersville.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
