Bertie Nunn Cooke

Mrs. Bertie Nunn Cooke, age 91, of Dublin, Georgia, formerly of Tennille, died on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Dublin.

Private graveside funeral services for Mrs. Cooke will be held in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Mr. Jamie Carrington will officiate.

Mrs. Cooke was a native of West Virginia, the daughter of the late James Nunn and the late Nina Snead Nunn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Edward Cooke, and sons, Donald Cooke and Gary Cooke. She was a loving mother, homemaker and a member of the Jehovah's Witness Organization.

Survivors are her children, Darlene Cooke Shiver and her husband Keith of Dublin, David Cooke and his husband Chris, Johnny Cooke of Statesboro, Jim Cooke and his wife Norma of New Jersey, Dewey Cooke, Jr of Tampa Bay, Nancy Cooke Baugus of Sandersville, and George Cooke and his wife Helen of Alabama; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
