Betty Jean Barlow, 83, died July 12, 2009 at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA after a brief illness. She was born on March 19, 1925 in Cedar Falls Iowa, the daughter of Pater Paulsen and Dora Donaldson Frandsen. She was the beloved wife of the late Melvyn Howard Barlow, and is survived by her children, Dianne Autrey, Marlane Barlow, Peter Barlow, Peggy Wade and Patsy St. Blanc, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at First Baptist Church Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers contributions be made to Habitat for Humanity or the Disaster Relief Fund at First Baptist Church Covington, LA.
