Betty Elton Brantley

Mrs. Betty Elton Brantley, age 91, of Tennille died on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Washington Co. Extended Care Facility. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 20th in Zeta Cemetery in Tennille.  Reverend Dr. Brian Welch will officiate.

Mrs. Brantley was a native and life long resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late James Elton and the late Gussie Cochran Elton.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joycelyn Smith, Nell Bowen, Frances Boyd, Sybil Hooks, Jackie Hooks and James Newman Elton. She was the wife of the late Charles Brantley. Mrs. Brantley was a retired machine operator for Washington Manufacturing Company and a member of Tennille Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Sept 19,2022 from 4-6 at May and Smith Funeral Home.

Survivors are her daughter, Dianne Turner of Eatonton; and sister, Dot Elton Sibley of Milledgeville.
