Funeral services for Betty Mae Smith Page, age 91, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 27, 2023, in the Richard N. Stanley Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Westview Cemetery. Rev. Danny Thomas and Rev. Bobby Williford will officiate

Mrs. Page was born on December 15, 1931, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a seamstress at Apparel Craft. She was very active in church and was a member of Pleasant Plains Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower beds. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Page, sons, James Wesley Page, Jr., Billy Page and Mark Page; sister, Mary Smith Simmons, and brothers, Bobby Smith, Earl Smith, Johnny Barclay and Jimmy Barclay. Mrs. Page died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, November 22,2023, at Washington County Extended Care Facility surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Jean Fordham of Sandersville and Carol Sue Page of Martinez, 2 sons, John Page (Rhonda) of Tennille and David Page (Kathy) of Wrightsville, sister, Stella Barclay-Delzer, 2 special adopted sons, Mack Smith and Ken Mathis of Sandersville, special family members, Stanley Gibson and Barbara Gibson, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and many friends and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends at the home of John Page, 70 Club Forest Dr., Tennille, GA 31089.

Pallbearers will be William Tuberville, Steven Osborne, Wes Page, Lee Gibson and C. J. Byrd.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff of ECF in Sandersville for the care she received and to Pruitt Hospice for the care provided in the last 2 weeks.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
