Betty Whitaker

Ms. Betty Whitaker, age 79, of Coco Beach Florida died October 1, 2013.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 19th, in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille.

Ms. Whitaker was a native of Tennille, the daughter of the late Sam Whitaker and the late Mamie Wilcher Whitaker. She was retired associate of General Electric at Cape Canaveral.

Survivors are her daughter, Juliana Lang and her husband Paul of Coco Beach; four sisters, Nell W. Giles of Deepstep, Ann W. Thomas of Waycross, Gloria W. Waller of Sandersville and Patti W. Burgamy of Tennille; two brothers, Glen Whitaker of Stockbridge and Dave Whitaker of Sandersville; and several nieces and nephews.

May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
