Beverly Julian Hodges

Mr. Beverly Julian Hodges, age 64, of Tennille died at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 5, 2017, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Reverend William Moody and Jason Belcher will officiate.

Mr. Hodges was a lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Bernard Lamar Hodges, Sr. and the late Mary Florence Tanner Hodges. Mr. Hodges was a retired diesel mechanic for C. T. Harris Inc. with thirty seven years of service.

Survivors are: his daughter, Cristy Hodges Johnson and her husband Richard of Augusta; four sons, Benji Hodges and his wife Donna of Sandersville, Justin Hodges of Sandersville, Dustin Hodges and his wife Amber of Lizella and Rusty Hodges and his wife Mallory of Tacoma, Washington; seven grandchildren; a sister, Vicky Blue and her husband David of Tennille; three brothers, Buddy Hodges of Tennille, Bruce Hodges and his wife Tammy of Sandersville and Greg Hodges and his wife Geraldine of Sandersville.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Saturday.
