Billie Grace Smith

June 9, 1939 — October 15, 2021

Billie Grace Smith went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the age of 82.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the Mt. Gilead Church Cemetery.  Elder Kenneth Brantley will officiate.  The family will greet friends at Mt. Gilead Church from 1:00 P.M. Tuesday until the hour of service at 2:00 P.M.

Billie Grace was a native of Washington County, the daughter of the late T. J. Smith, Jr. and the late Edna Boyd Smith.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Anne Smith and a brother, Thomas James Smith.  Billie Grace loved the Lord and Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church where she was a faithful member.  In her retirement, she became a care giver for the elderly members of the church. She loved gardening and being in the yard with her flowers. She loved all animals, especially horses.  Billie Grace was loving and caring to all her family and friends.

She is survived by her siblings, Rachel Watkins of Conley, Carolyn McGaughey and her husband Cliff of Monroe, Connie S. Stanton and her husband Tommy of Madison, and Hugh Smith and his wife Tina of Harrison.
