Billy Joe Phillips

Billy Joe Phillips, age 58, of East 2nd Avenue, Tennille, died Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at his residence.  A family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Billy Joe was born in Macon and reared in Tennille.  He was the son of the late Grady Phillips and the late Betty Etheridge Phillips.  For most of his life, Billy Joe worked as a carpenter.  He loved to fish and be with family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Joseph Phillips, Linda Phillips, Stephanie Phillips, Joshua Phillips, Megan Phillips, Nicholas Phillips, Gracelyn Phillips and Colby Phillips; eight grandchildren and siblings, Bobby Phillips of Tennille and Gladys P. Glass of Easley, SC.
