Billy Steve Todd

Mr. Billy Steve Todd, age 81, of Sandersville, died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1 ^st at 3:00 P.M. at Josey Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Reverend David Brown will officiate.

Pallbearers will be David Grimes, Jr., Ronnie Gene Stovall, Gerald Lamar Mathis, Keith Todd, Matthew Todd, Brandon S. Todd, Michael S. Todd, and Hugh Todd.

Mr. Todd was a native and life-long resident of Washington County, the son of the late Willie Hugh Todd and the late Laura Josephine Frazier Todd. He was a retired plant foreman for Anglo American Clays with thirty seven years of service. Mr. Todd was a member of Josey Baptist Church where he served as a choir leader and a deacon. He also served in the Georgia National Guard.

Survivors are his wife, Anne Smith Todd of Sandersville; his children, Billy Warren Todd and his wife Joy of Sandersville, Wanda Kay Stovall of Wrightsville, Jayne La'Fene Grimes and her husband David of Sandersville, and Michael Steve Todd of Sandersville; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Todd of Sandersville; two sisters, Delores Horton and her husband Rabun of Sandersville and Judy Kyzer and her husband Charles of Sandersville.

The family suggests that donations be made to Josey Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday.
