Billy Warren Todd

Mr. Billy Warren Todd, age 59, of Sandersville, died Saturday, January 25, 2020.   A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church on County Line Road in Washington County. Reverend Danny Yates and Reverend Bobby Williford will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be David Grimes Sr., David Grimes Jr., Jeremy Beck, Trey Beck, Ronnie Stovall, Brandon Todd, Gerrald Mathis and Rick Wallis.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 29th from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Mr. Todd was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Billy Steve Todd and the late Marion Stephens Gray.  He began his working career with Fred Todd’s Service Station and worked there until it closed.  Billy also formerly worked for J. P. Stevens Company, B-H Transfer and Avant Salvage Company.  He was a talented auto mechanic and owned and operated Billy’s Automotive.  Billy loved children and growing things.  He often donated blood to the American Red Cross and was best known as a man with a big heart, often helping those in need.

Survivors are his wife, Joy Blalock Todd; sons, Keith Todd and his wife Jennifer of Acworth, Matthew Todd of Sandersville; step sons, Trey Beck of Sandersville, Jeffrey Beck of Washington State, and Jeremy Beck and his wife Brittney of Macon; nine grandchildren; and siblings, Wanda Kay Stovall of Wrightsville, Jayne Grimes and her husband David, Mike Todd and Rhonda Crawford all of Sandersville.
