Bobby Marion Goines, Sr

Mr. Bobby Marion Goines, Sr., age 75, of Warthen, died Thursday, September 03, 2015. A family memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Bobby was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a former longtime employee of General Motors in Michigan and was the co-owner and operator of B and E Flag Car Transport Service. Bobby was a U.S. Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corp. He is predeceased by his mother, Ethel Hawk, and children, Dwayne Edward Goines and Deanna Lynn Goines.

Survivors are: his wife, Elaine Walden Goines of Warthen; his son, Bobby M. Goines Jr., and his wife Sherry of Kansas City MO; his father, Joseph Goines of Hudson, FL; step children, Stacey Hall and her husband Stuart of Wake Forrest, NC, Kelly Kilian and her husband John of Norlina, NC, and Kevin Patrick Thrower of Raleigh, NC; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sisters, Cheryl Herr and her husband Ted of Michigan, and Brenda Kay Hawk of Del Monte CA; and his brother, Jimmy Hawk also of Del Monte, CA.
