Mr. Kent touched the lives of many, and he will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his brother, James Kent.
Mr. Kent is survived by his loving wife, Harriette Dickens Kent; sons, Clay Kent and his wife Carolyn of Milledgeville, and Timothy Kent and his wife Stephanie of Oklahoma City; stepchildren, Jan Garland and her husband Ronny of Sparta, and Mark Rachels and his wife Jeanne of Conyers; grandchildren, Leila Rose Kent, Paul Garland and his wife Melissa, Megan Bass and her husband Owen, Zach Rachels, and Jeremy Rachels; sisters, Ruth Smith of Sandersville, Ann Dye and her husband Roger of Sparta, and Gail Jackson and her husband Ricky of Riddleville; brother, William Kent and his wife Pauline of Jasper; sister-in-law, Judy Kent of Sandersville; and many loving nieces and nephews.
