Bobby Lamar Mcbride, Jr

Mr. Bobby Lamar McBride, Jr., age 44, of 3270 Colesby – Smith Road in Tennille died Sunday May 25 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday May 29 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville. The Rev. Thomas Wade McBride will officiate with burial in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille.

Mr. McBride was a native of Jenkins County, Georgia, the son of the late Bobby Lamar McBride, Sr.. He was a retired truck drive and had worked for C.T. Harris Inc. and United Transportation. He was very musically inclined. Mr. McBride was a member of the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors are his wife, Sondra Maria Stapleton McBride of Tennille, his children, Loneisa L. McBride of Sandersville, Crystal McBride Conner of Tennille and Justin Lee McBride of Tennille, his mother, Loraine Carter McBride of Tennille, two grandchildren, Zane Thomas Baker and Katherine Tyne Coffey, two sisters, Lanell McBride McCoy of Tennille and Lisa Diane McBride of Gordon, two brothers, Kenneth Edward McBride of Davisboro and Jason Carter McBride of Athens.

May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening.
