Brenda Robinson Prosser

Mrs. Brenda Robinson Prosser, age 69, of Sandersville, died Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Augusta University Hospital.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 29th at 3:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sisters Baptist Church Cemetery.   Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Kevin Lindsey, Gabriel Green, Chris Lanthrip, Lonnie Sanders, Junior Yates and Robbie Lindsey.

Brenda was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Lonnie Robinson and the late Ammie Johnson Robinson.  She graduated from Washington County High School in 1970.  She was a homemaker and later employed at Stone Container Chip Mill as a secretary.  She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.  Brenda loved flowers and had a passion for being with family and caring for children.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Samuel J. Prosser, son, Heath Hannah, granddaughter, Destani Mann, great granddaughter, Destani Anne Lindsey and brothers, Billy Johnson and Frank Cooper.

Survivors are her children, Brad Hannah and Tara Hannah and her fiancé Gabriel Green; grandchildren, Elliott Hannah, Trenton Hannah, Dallas Hannah, Jimmy Hannah Jr., Brianna Redding and Ivan Hannah; great grandchildren, E.J. Hannah, Braylan Mann, Will Redding and Kenzie Hannah; and siblings, J.W. Cooper, Bertha Sanders, Lonnell Phillips and Mike Robinson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home.
