Bud L Mcgill

Mr. Bud Lee McGill, age 74, of Tennille, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in an Augusta hospital following a brief illness. A memorial service for Mr. McGill will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Smashed Restaurant in Tennille, Georgia from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M.

Mr. McGill was a native of Jeff Davis County, the son of the late Felton McGill and the late Daisy Yawn McGill.  He was a graduate of Garfield High School in Woodbridge, Virginia, and a graduate of Brewton Parker College with an Associate Degree of Arts. Mr. McGill was a former pastor of Poplar Springs Church and New Bethel Church.  He was a former owner of a construction company but had retired as an associate of Cracker Barrel.

Survivors are his wife, Dana Crankshaw McGill of Tennille; his former wife and mother of children, Quinell Towns McGill of Tennille; two sons, Kevin Lee McGill and his wife Amy Jo and Jeffrey Lee McGill and his wife Jill Ann of Tennille, four grandchildren, Christian McGill, Shea McGill, Ryan McGill and Kyle McGill, and sister, Melba Sue Cooper, and her husband Olin Doc of Vidalia.
