Candis Julie Spivey

Candis Julie Spivey, age 45, of Tennille, died on October 25, 2020 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. A family memorial service will take place at a later date in her hometown of Ozello, Florida.

Candis was born in Brooksville, Florida. She had many joys in life but none greater than her daughter Chloe, whom she was very thankful for. Candis enjoyed fishing and trying her hand at bread baking and she also made a great lasagna. Candis enjoyed reading a good book and doing various arts and crafts. She is preceded in death by her father, William Thomas Spivey.

Candis is survived by her daughter Chloe J. Ratley, of Tennille; parents, Carolyn Brooks Ratley and Blu S. Ratley, Sr., of Tennille; brothers, Blu S. Ratley, Jr., of Laurens County and William T. Ratley, of Jacksonville, Florida; and her special friend, Tony Orr, of Tennille.

The family suggests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 17 Executive Park, Suite 115, Atlanta, GA 30329.
