Carey Eugene Franklin

Mr. Carey Eugene Franklin age 71 of Milledgeville passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014.  Services will be conducted Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 6 pm in Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville with Rev. Larry Glover officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 o'clock until the service hour.

Mr. Franklin was a native of Washington county and had made his home in Baldwin county for the past 40 years. He was predeceased by his parents Tommy Lee Franklin and Ruby Moore Franklin and brother Tommy Lee Franklin, Jr. He was retired from American General Insurance Company and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his daughter Tricia F. Wall and son Michael C "Pooka" Franklin (Candice) of Milledgeville; grandson DJ Wall; sister Louise Veal (Ed) of Deepstep; companion Jacque Kristoff of Milledgeville; sister in law Glenda Franklin of Albany; a number of other relatives also survive.
