Carol Lisa Hudson

Mrs. Carol Lisa Hudson, age 55, of 575 Northlake Drive in Sandersville died Friday December 23 in the Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday December 26 in the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Warthen with burial in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Phil Wallace, Rev. Andy Wallace and Rev. Tim Powell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Austin Kent, Jamie Thompson, Eric Smith, Cles Kent, Mark Hudson and Brent Hudson.

Mrs. Hudson was a native of Twiggs County Georgia , the daughter of the late Jodie Buchanan Mote and the late Sandra Evans Mote. She had resided in Washington County for a number of years and was an office administrator for Dr. Vic Etheridge. She was a member of the New Beginnings Church of Sandersville. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Mote.

Survivors are her husband, Britt Hudson of Sandersville, her children, Kerri Anne Sheram of Sandersville, Sandi (Eric) Smith of Harrison, Jill (Jamie) Hudson Thompson of Riddleville, and Michael Brent Hudson of Riddleville, eight grandchildren, Austin Kent, Erica Smith, Maci Thompson, Josh Sheram, Emily Smith, Tori Beth Sheram, Shelby Hudson and Brent Hudson, Jr., two sisters, Teresa mote of Lizella and Terri (Troy) Null of Jeffersonville, a brother, Jodie (Betty) Mote, Jr. of Jeffersonville.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Saturday.
