Carol Anne Jackson Jones

Memorial services for Carol Anne Jackson Jones, 70, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the Sandersville United Methodist Church with Dr. Stan Littleton officiating. A private burial will be held in Westview Cemetery.

Ms. Jones was born November 14, 1952, in Wrightsville, Georgia and lived in Sandersville for over 35 years. She was a member of the Sandersville United Methodist Church, Tennille Fine Arts Society, Fall Line Artist Guild, ADK, a stellar grandmother!, educator for 35 years, co-director of the Central Georgia Writing Project and was involved in countless other endeavors. She was preceded in death by her parents William Ralph and Carolyn Elizabeth Jackson, Jr. Ms. Jones passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at her residence.

She is survived by two sons, Joshua Jackson Jones and his wife Brandi of Savannah, and Nicholas Tannahill Jones and his wife Mary Kate of Atlanta, sister Jean Jackson Ginn of Sandersville, brothers William Jackson of Perry and George Jackson of Macon, and grandchildren Amelia Jones and Tanner Counts.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the Sandersville United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a church or charity of the donor’s choice.
