Carroll Norman Carter

Mr. Carroll Norman Carter, age 79, of Macon, died on Sunday, January 7, 2018, in Macon following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 11 in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Carter was a native of Jeff Davis County, the son of the late Arthur Jackson Carter and the late Della Mae Hand Carter. He was the husband of the late Addie Ree Smith Carter. He was an electrical engineer and former owner of Carter Electrical Contractors.  Mr. Carter was a veteran of the United States Army and Navy.

Survivors are his sons, Gary Carter of Macon and Patrick Carter and his wife Michelle of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Garrett Carter and his wife Linda, Cole Carter, Sydney Carter, Joshua Blake Carter and Cameron Carter; great grandchildren, Luke Carter, Kinley Willis and Waylon Carter; sisters, Linda Carelock and Sandra Remusat of Hazlehurst; and a brother, Tommie Lee Carter of Dahlonega.
