Mrs. Celesta Ann Garner Miller, age 69, of Bartow, Georgia died at her residence on Monday evening August 3, 2015, following a brief illness.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday August 6 in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Reverend Edward Salter will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jack Garner, John Garner, Jerry Lee Garner, Jr., James Garner, Taylor McGraw, Colton McGraw, Trace Standridge and Brandon Willis.
Mrs. Miller was a native of Washington County, the daughter of the late Jerry Lee Garner, Sr. and the late Martha Brown Garner. She was a graduate of Washington County High School. Mrs. Miller was a retired seamstress with the Wadley Shirt Company. She was a member of the Cross Community Church of Louisville.
Survivors are: her husband, James William "Jimmy " Miller of Bartow; her children, Diane McGraw Radford and her husband Allen of Sandersville, Larry "Bubba" McGraw, Jr. and his wife Pam of Bartow, and Tracy McGraw Standridge of Russellville, Arkansas; her step children, James William Miller, Jr. and his wife Jeannie of Louisville, Brenda Bevill and her husband Tony of Collins, Annette Crowley of Savannah, John T. Miller of Gainesville and Leisha Rogers and her husband Jerry of Gainesville; sixteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Gail Garner Harrison and her husband Thomas of Dublin, and Kathy Garner Dukes and her husband Shane of Dublin; five brothers, Joe Garner, Jerry Lee "Buddy" Garner, Jr. and his wife Anna , Jack Garner, John Garner , James Garner and his wife Denise, all of Tennille; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
