Charlie "C.W." Will Brantley, Jr

Mr. Charlie Will "C. W." Brantley, Jr., age 69, of Sandersville died on Thursday morning September 3, 2015.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 7, at the residence, 1518 Lamar's Creek Road in Sandersville with military honors.

Mr. Brantley was a native of Washington County, Georgia, the son of the late Charlie Will Brantley, Sr. and the late Margaret Orr Brantley. He was a 1964 graduate of Washington County High School and was a retired Master Sergeant with over 26 years in the United States Marine Corp. He served three tours in Viet Nam. Mr. Brantley was an avid pool player and competed numerous times in the National Pool Tournament. He loved hunting and fishing.

Survivors are: his three sons, Kenneth Lamar Brantley of Sandersville, William Harris Brantley of Atlanta and Tony Eugene Brantley of Sandersville; his daughter, Kristy Louise Brantley of Sandersville; nine grandchildren, Tiffany Lynn Brantley, Melinda Ann Brantley, Damian Skyler Thompson, Sydney Faith Barnes, Whitney Grace Barnes, Aria Toni-Charlene Brantley, Katie Lynn Brantley, Madison Elizabeth Brantley, and Kinlee Alyse Brantley; his sister, Joan Brantley of Sandersville.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Sunday.
