Charlotte Fields Lindsey

Mrs. Charlotte Fields Lindsey, age 77, of Riddleville died on Sunday, April 19, 2020, in an Augusta hospital. A family only graveside funeral service will be held in Riddleville Cemetery.  Reverend Wade Dawson will officiate.

Mrs. Lindsey was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late George Washington Fields, Jr. and Margaret Allene Channell Fields.  She was the wife of the late Robbie Allen Lindsey.   Mrs. Lindsey was a graduate of Washington County High School and Bolen Draughton Business College in Savannah.  She was a homemaker and a retired certified nurse’s assistant at Washington County Regional Medical Center.

Survivors are a son, David Lindsey  (Debbie Bryan) of Riddleville and a daughter, Diane Lindsey Messmore and (Robert) of Cleveland, Ga; seven grandchildren, Jessica Pennington (Andy), Jennifer Lindsey, Dakota Wilkes, Julie Lindsey, Zachary Messmore, Lindsey Messmore and Carlos Turner; seven great grandchildren, Thomas Withrow, Beau Lindsey, Caine Lindsey, Gregory Hermann, Jeslyn Pennington, Jenny Mae Pennington and Jacob Pennington; two sisters, Carol Fields Brown of Savannah and Mary Ellen Fields Cramer of Vidalia.

The family request that donations be made to the Riddleville Baptist Church, co/ Linda Jackson, 9019 Hwy. 242, Harrison, Ga. 31035.
