Chester Martin Wimbley

Mr. Chester Martin Wimbley, age 56, of Segars Court in Tennille, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25th at 11:00am at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Calvin Hatcher will officiate.

Mr. Wimbley was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County the son of the late Elysses Wimbley and the late Irene White Wimbley. Mr. Wimbley worked as a truck driver for C.T. Harris Inc. and he was a member of the Georgia Gove Baptist Church.

Survivors are; his wife Sherrie Williams Wimbley of Tennille, children, Christopher Scott of Tennille, Lashanda W. Jordan of Sandersville, Marquice Wimbley of Dallas TX., Tiffany Peeler and Keely Shaye Wimbley both of Tennille, 14 grandchildren, brothers Ernest Wimbley of Tennille, Roger Wimbley of Wrightsville, Willie Wimbley of Sandersville, and Willie Freshly of Dublin and sisters, Marylene Wiley and Mamie Scott both of Tennille, Mamie Hicks of Philadelphia and Brenda Freshly Wiggins of Dublin.

The family will be at the Wimbley residence 105 Segars Court in Tennille.

May and Smith Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
