Clinton William Forehand

Mr. Clinton William Forehand, age 60, formerly of Moye Drive in Sandersville, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Christian Church in Oconee, with the burial in the church cemetery. Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Gene Sheppard, Marshall Sheppard, Mark Harvey, Mike Thompson, Doug Adams and Nathan Riner.

Clint was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Charles William Forehand and the late Gladys Wade Forehand. He was the former owner and operator of 4-Hand Sports store in Sandersville and he was also formerly employed by Davis Tractor Company. Clint was a member of the Antioch Christian Church and possessed a great love of hunting, fishing and most of all his grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents and one sister Nancy F. Garbutt.

Survivors are; his sons, Chadwick William Forehand and his wife Marilyn of Watkinsville and James Erik Forehand and his wife Kimberly of Hull; grandchildren, Lofton Forehand, Wick Forehand, Kailey Forehand and Nathan Forehand; sisters, Lynn F. Brantley and her husband David of Hephzibah, Janice F. Brantley of Oconee, and Johnnie F. Price of Warren, OH.; and brother-in-law, George Garbutt Sr. of Sandersville.

The family will receive friends on Friday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
