Concetta M. Burgamy

Mrs. Concetta M. Burgamy, age 65, of Hwy. 242, Sandersville, died Saturday, December 15, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December the 21st, at 2:00pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Washington County Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Gary Mimbs will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jace White, Kyle White, Austin Burgamy, Jay Etheridge, Brandon Kennedy, Trey Burgamy, Lewis Josey and Dave Dopp.

Mrs. Burgamy was born in Maryland the daughter of the late Henry Sites and the late Patricia Scott Sites. She retired from Imerys as an administrative assistant. She was an active participant in the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary over the years. Mrs. Burgamy is predeceased by her husband, H. Roy Burgamy.

Survivors are: her children, Theresa Lynn B. (Cecil) White of Kathleen and Eric (Melanie) Burgamy of Sandersville; grandchildren, Jace White, Kyle White, Austin Burgamy, Maegan Faglier, and Andrew Williford; and great-grandchildren, Chesnie Faglier and Maddox Faglier; a brother, Scott (Terry) Sites of Lakeland, FL; sisters, Deborah (Albert) Mings of Harleton, TX, Sue Sites of Milton, FL, Mary (David) Dopp of LaGrange, GA, Rebecca (Paul) Lorden of Forest Hill, MD; an aunt, Dorothy Tayman of Fredricksburg, VA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be at the Burgamy residence, 2810 Hwy. 242, Sandersville and they will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
