Daniel Craig Henry age 58, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11AM Monday, August 13, at Freedom Church with Rev. Tim Thomas officiating. Burial will be private.
Mr. Henry was born in Sandersville, GA and graduated from Brentwood School. He attended Georgia College and received an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He earned a Masters in Business Administration at Georgia College. Mr. Henry worked at Georgia College for 38 years in The Information Technology Department. Mr. Henry was involved with Athletics at Georgia College.
Mr. Henry was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and served as advisor of the Lambda-Xi Chapter at Georgia College for 30 years. He was involved with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for 10 years. Mr. Henry served on the Oconee River Greenway Foundation. He was a member of Freedom Church.
Survivors include his children, William Charles Henry and Carley Sinclair Henry, his mother Maitland Smith Henry, a sister Susan Henry Whittle, nephew Zach Whittle, Drew and Austin Hale.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 12, from 3-5PM at Freedom Church.
Friends who wish may make memorial contribution to the Kappa Sigma Fraternity Lambda-Xi Chapter at Georgia College, Freedom Church or Brentwood Academy in Sandersville.
