Cyndi Haywood Garner

Mrs. Cyndi Haywood Garner, age 59, of Club Forest Drive, Tennille, died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Washington County Regional Medical Center.  A funeral service to celebrate Cyndi’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 16 ^th at 2:00 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene with burial in Zeta Cemetery.  Reverend Gary Mimbs and Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Chase Durden, Zac Parker, Clint Durden, Shane Hart, Lance Helton, David Brooks, Jimmy Childre Jr. and Ronnie Dorman.

Cyndi was born in Bibb County and reared in Washington County.  She was a graduate of Washington County High School and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.   Cyndi formerly worked as an insurance agent for Liberty National prior to working in auto sales with both Childre Ford and Dorman Dodge.  She was later the owner and operator of Fast Track Auto Sales.  Cindy currently worked as the station manager for WJFL Radio.  She was a member of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce where she enjoyed volunteering and she was also a former member of the Sandersville Rotary Club.

Survivors include, her husband John C. Garner Jr. of Tennille; parents, Robert and Shirley Haywood of Tennille; siblings, Ricky Haywood and his wife Dale of Sandersville, and Denise Parker and her husband Carlton of Tennille; father and mother-in-law, John and Mary Garner of Warthen; sisters-in-law, Dawn Durden and her husband Clint and Missy Hart and her husband Shane; nieces and nephews, Lauren Helton and her husband Lance, Lindsey Huggins and her husband Craig, Zac Parker, Chase Durden, Natalie Durden, Carly Hart and Haley Hart.

The family will be at the Garner residence on Club Forest Drive and they will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
