Cynthia Elton Channell

Ms. Cynthia Elton Channell of Oconee passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at her residence.

Cynthia was a Washington County native and reared in Oconee.  She graduated from Washington County High School and moved to Atlanta where she was a longtime resident.  She worked for over 40 years for Southern Bell from which she retired.  Cynthia returned to Oconee in retirement.  She loved Chick-fil-a, the Beatles and the Braves.  Her father, Eugene Elton predeceases her.

Survivors include her mother, Eugenia Elton and several cousins.
