Dale Yvonne Beckworth

Ms. Dale Beckworth, age 66, of Riddleville passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, January 26, 2026. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, February 1st at 2:00 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church. Reverends Marty Deal and Danny Thomas will officiate. Dale's family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Dale Yvonne Beckworth was born in Sandersville on December 14, 1959, daughter of proud parents, Daniel R. and Barbara Jackson Beckworth. She was reared along with her siblings in the close-knit New Bethel community near Riddleville. Dale graduated from Washington County High School and then attended Georgia College, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology. She later became a caring registered nurse, her lifetime profession. Dale worked as a nurse in Atlanta and Augusta prior to returning to Washington County, where she discovered her true love, labor and delivery, working for the Washington County Regional Medical Center and the office of Scott Rederick MD. In retirement, Dale enjoyed assisting her mother in their family store, the Tennille Food Center. She would later become a full-time care provider for her mother. She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church. Dale loved to read. Music and playing the guitar, especially Jimmy Buffet songs, where her favorite pastimes. She was most known for her glowing and radiant smiles. Dale cherished family, especially her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Survivor include her siblings, Michael R. Beckworth and his wife Rebecca and Danette B. Dalton and her husband John all of Riddleville; nieces and nephews, John A. Beckworth and his wife Mollie, Lindsey Beckworth and her husband Chris, B. J. Dalton and his wife Jessie and Meagan D. Brooks and her husband Kyle and great nieces and nephews, Hutson Beckworth, Ellie Beckworth, Betsy Brooks, Jed Dalton and Maggie Brooks.
