Daniel Scott Dollar

Mr. Daniel Scott Dollar, age 35, of Macon, died Thursday, March 26, 2020. A private family graveside memorial service will be held in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Reverend Chad Waller will officiate.

Daniel was born in Richmond County, and raised in Washington County. He was a 2003 graduate of Washington County High School. He was a wrestling fan and enjoyed attending wrestling matches. Daniel formerly worked for the Georgia Department of Corrections as a correctional officer. Later he worked as a claim’s representative for GIECO Insurance Company prior to being employed by UBER. Daniel attended Victory Central Church in Tennille and he was an avid NASCAR fan who loved #11 Danny Hamlin. His greatest joy in life was his son, Kaden.

Survivors include his son, Kaden Cobain Dollar of Centerville; father, Van B. Dollar Jr. and his wife Janice of Duluth; mother, Donna W. Pittman and her husband Jimmy of Oconee; siblings, Ron Kelley of Sandersville, Chris Dollar and his wife Mary and David Dollar and his wife Crystal all of Sandersville; grandmother, Jean D. Walden of Louisville; and nieces and nephews.
