Daniel Russell Masdon

Mr. Daniel Russell Masdon, age 36, of Griffin, Georgia died on Wednesday evening March 26, 2014 in the Spalding Regional Hospital.

A visitation will be held at the Griffin First Assembly Church of God, 2000 West McIntosh Road in Griffin on Tuesday, April 1 ^st , from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 2 ^nd , in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. Wednesday until the hour of service. The Reverend Cindy Glover will officiate.

Mr. Masdon was a native and lifelong resident of Spalding County, the son of the late Davis Reese Masdon. He was a supervisor for R and L Carriers of Ellenwood.

Survivors are his wife, Rachel Masdon of Griffin; his children, Alexander Masdon, Christopher Gunter and Kirsten Gunter all of Griffin; his mother, Betty G. Masdon of Griffin; his brother, Darrell Masdon and his wife Nicki of Dawsonville; two nieces, Katelyn Masdon and Kayla Masdon of Dawsonville; and a nephew, Andrew C. Masdon of Griffin.
