Danny Sam Johnson

Mr. Danny Sam Johnson, age 58, of Tennille, died on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in an Augusta hospital following an extended illness.  Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held at 11 A.M. on  Tuesday, October 2 in May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville.  Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.  Burial will be private in Washington County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was a native and life long resident of Washington County, the son of the late Billy Sam Johnson.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Cindy Johnson Glover and Janet Louise Johnson.  Mr. Johnson was a carpenter and painter. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors are his wife, Patricia Ann Ross Johnson of Oconee; children, Tiffany Johnson of Sandersville, Stephany Johnson of Kite and Daphany Johnson Hood of Wrightsville; several grandchildren; mother, Margie Johnson Davis and her husband Walter of Tennille; brother, Stacey Johnson and his wife Billie of Tennille.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday until the hour of service.
