Debbie Mathis Bussell

Mrs. Debbie Mathis Bussell, age 64 of Warthen, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta. A private graveside service will be held to celebrate her life in Brownwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Bussell was born in Sandersville, the daughter of the late Hugh Mathis and Joanne Haygood Mathis. She worked for many years in the billing department for B-H Transfer, Co. Debbie was a wonderful Christian woman, and a loving wife, daughter and sister. Everyone who knew her, loved her. She was a member of Ohoopee Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bussell is survived by her husband of 30 years, Perry Bussell; mother, Joanne Haygood Mathis; brother, William Mathis; her loving dog, Levi; and many cousins.
