Deborah Jayne Brown Waters

Mrs. Deborah Jayne Brown Waters, age 54, of Tennille died on Sunday, March 27, 2016, in the University Hospital in Augusta following an extended illness.

A memorial service for Mrs. Waters will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 30th, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville. Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate.

Mrs. Waters was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are: her husband, Randy C. Waters of Tennille; her children, Amanda Jayne Lindsey of Tennille, Robert Dean Lindsey of Sandersville, Amber Nicole Waters of Tennille, and Jon Carlton Waters of Tennille; her mother, Florene Turner Brown of Sandersville; her father, B. L. Brown, Jr. and wife Sue of Sandersville; five grandchildren, Joshua Lewis Lindsey, Trenton Zayne Lindsey, Kassidy Johnson, Kaylee Johnson and Emma Rae Mock; two sisters, Julie Ann Jones of Milledgeville and Laura Lynne Mitchell of Sandersville; a brother, James Lamar Brown and his wife Della of Warthen; a niece, Alanna Lynee Brewer of Sandersville; and a nephew, Dylan Jones of Milledgeville.

May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
