Mrs. Debra Black Brynteson, age 58, of Sandersville, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017 following a short illness. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Brownwood Cemetery .Reverend Danny Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Justin Black, Jacob Black, Adam Black, Randy Hasty, Tony Hasty, Ashley Wood, Troy Bridges and Ron Waters, Jr. Debra was born in Jefferson County and reared in Washington County. Debra is the daughter of the late Johnny Kench "Jake" Black and the late Katherine Crooms "Kathy" Black. She was a homemaker and a former sales associate for Walmart. Debra was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include; her husband, William Benheart "Bill" Brynteson; children, Endia Black Macinsky of Warthen, Azia Benheart Brynteson and his wife Jodi of Milledgeville and Europe Von Brynteson of Sandersville; grandchildren, Steven Macinsky III, Saxton Macinsky, Harmony Brynteson, Easton Brynteson, Cohen Brynteson, Ella Brynteson and Athenia Brynteson; brothers, Ricky Black and Johnny Black; and nieces and nephews, Heather Bland, Justin Black, Jacob Black, Rachel Green and Adam Black.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
