Derrianna Monea Dixon

Sandersville

Miss Derrianna Monea Dixon, age 12, of Sandersville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, November 4, 2024.  A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 2:00 p.m., at May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the Pine Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, near Davisboro.  Reverend Troy Duggan will officiate.  Serving as pallbearers will be Traivon Outley, Laranzala Stone, Dartez Wicker and Kaleb Lane.  Visiting hours will be on Friday from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m., at May and Smith Funeral Home.

Derrianna was born in Augusta and reared in Louisville until she started school, and her family moved to Sandersville.  She was a student at Ridge Road Primary, Ridge Road Elementary and currently a sixth grader at T.J. Elder Middle School.   Derrianna loved to draw and excelled in art.  Her favorite hobby was fixing hair for family and friends.  Most of all she cherished the time spent with her family.  Derrianna also loved dancing and posting on Tik Tok, often being called the "Tik Tok Queen". In addition to being active in school, she was also an active member of First Love Kids.

Survivors include her mother, Aundria Dixon and her husband Stacey Wilcher of Sandersville, GA; her father Derrick Wilcher and his wife Kimberly Wilcher of Augusta; siblings, (her twin sister) Andrieanna Dixon, Sequoia Wilcher, Kiniyah Wilcher, LaDerrick Hammond, and Noah Wilcher; grandparents, Octavia Wicker, Andrea Dixon, William Brown, and Carolyn Wilcher; great-grandparents, Gloria Wicker, Willie Wicker (Lenola), Ella Walden (Mark); aunts, Alexis Wicker, Laquanda Wicker, Jalisa Dixon, Nicole Walden,  Crystal Walden (Charles Brown) and Melissa Wilcher;  and uncles,  Nekell Dixon, Joseph Wicker (Terica Wicker), and Daniel Wicker; nieces. Layton Robinson and Kaisleigh Hill and a host of loving cousins and friends.

Derianna's family would like to express their appreciation for the Washington County School System and to First Love Kids, for all of their love and support.
