Donald Edwin Fox

MMr. Donald Edwin Fox, age 92, of Wedgewood Drive, Sandersville, died Monday, August 7, 2017.   A Memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene in Tennille on Saturday, August 12, at 1:30 pm.  The family will be available after the service at the church.  Officiating will be Reverend Lamar Brantley and Reverend Myron Wise.

Mr. Fox was born November 24, 1924 in Mason City, Iowa. He served in the Navy on the USS Cahaba in the South Pacific during WWII. An electrician by trade, Mr. Fox was employed by AFofL and a member of Local Union 349 in Miami, FL until his retirement in 1986. He was also a member of Princeton Church of the Nazarene in Princeton, Florida and loved to travel and do mission trips with his church.

Mr. Fox is survived by his wife, Peggy Lou Green Fox in which he married on August 31, 1946, four children, Toni Jean Hawkins of Orlando, FL. Vicki Lee Brantley and her husband Lamar of Sandersville, Jeffery Donn Fox of Virginia Beach, VA and Rebecca Sue Denham of Homestead, FL, 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his father ,Llewellyn Vivian Fox and mother, Frances Caroline Godderz Fox and 5 brothers and sisters.
