Donna Williams Bailey

Mrs. Donna Williams Bailey, age 47, of Crawford County, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, December 21st at 2:00pm in the Washington County Memorial Gardens in Sandersville. Rev. Jesse Fortson will officiate.

Mrs. Bailey was born and raised in Sandersville the daughter of the late William Alton Williams and the late Winifred Bussell Williams. She was a Crawford County resident for twenty years and worked as a legal assistant for the law firm of Martin and Snow in Macon. Donna was still a member of her childhood church the Sandersville United Methodist Church as well as the Byron Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband Bruce Bailey of Ft. Valley, son Brian Bailey (Kim) of Macon, daughter Brenna Bailey of Ft. Valley, grandson William Bailey also of Macon, brothers, Edward Williams (Jane) of Warthen, Donald Williams (Meredith) of Oconee, Tony Williams (Betty) and Bobby Williams (Mary) all of Sandersville and David Williams (Regina) of Tennille and her sister Ellen Boatright (Ted) also of Tennille.

The family will be at the residence of Ellen and Ted Boatright Club Forrest Drive in Tennille and will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home.

May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
