Donnie Ray Carroll

Mr. Donnie Ray Carroll, age 65, of McDaniel Drive, Sandersville, died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Washington County Regional Medical Center following a short illness.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 2 ^nd at 11:00 a.m. in May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roy Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Carroll was born in Anderson SC, the son of the late Ernest Carroll and the late Viola Potts.  He served in the US Army and formerly worked in Agriculture and the Timber industry.  He enjoyed repairing lawnmowers and small engines as well as fishing.

Survivors include his daughters; Angela C. Thompson and her husband Franklin and Pamela C. Blue all of Deepstep and Tonya C. Fordham and Jessica Carroll both of Sandersville; 8 grandchildren; and his faithful companion ,“Poochie”.

The family will be at the Carroll residence on McDaniel Drive.
